Here are the Ashrams' primary projects:
Supporting the education of children: Many local families do not have the money to buy school supplies, so their children do not recieve a full education.

The Ashram provides 2000 school students with annual packages of school books, pens, and other educational material. We give uniforms to 200 children from the poorest families. We also supply rice to 50 of these families. It costs 200 Rps a year per child for books, 500 Rps more for uniforms, and 1700 Rps or more for the whole family package.
A home for the destitute elderly: Some of India's elderly end up living on the streets because their families will not, or cannot, look after them. The Ashram provides accomodation in a newly built facility in Thannirpalli for 22 destitute old people, and food, clothes, and medical expenses for a total of 28. It costs about 750 Rps a month to support one person.
Food and medical assistance: The Ashram has a regular program of rice and nutritional powder distribution from its social center in Thannirpalli. We distribute three to five kilos of rice a month to 200 elderly people, mostly women without any pension. The Ashram supplies nutritional powder to those who are physically weak, including people with HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. It costs 1200 Rps per person annually to fund the rice distribution alone. The Ashram also helps villagers requiring medical treatments, such as heart opperations.
